Exploring Biblical Principles and the Influence of Christian Faith on History, Government, and Culture
More than 170 years later, Webster’s concern remains valid. God’s principles—Biblical principles—are often neglected and replaced by “corrupt” ones. Principles are supposed to be general truths on which individual lives and societies are based. Corrupt principles, however, are general falsehoods that can permeate a society and lead to its destruction. We need to recover the general truths of Scripture and apply them to all of life. The Christian faith supplies those truths. Biblical principles should be the grid through which we examine our history, and they should form the foundation of our government and its policies. My goal is to do whatever I can to help in the rediscovery of those principles. That is the purpose of this website. It offers books and articles I have published, insightful quotes from people who can help us think more about Biblical principles, and annotated lists of books that may help reveal the significance of Christian faith to history, government, and culture. You are invited to peruse my blog where I share almost daily my thoughts on current events, history, and the Christian life.
